Plan B is looking for an energetic and driven collision technician to join the team.  This individual should be able to show great initiative, always striving to exceed company and customer expectations, consistently displaying strong troubleshooting skills and an aptitude for continuous learning.

Collision Technician Job Summary:
Repairs accident related damage to vehicles, restoring them to pre-collision condition in accordance with industry standards and factory specifications. Technicians are essential to the repair process and must be able to perform quality repairs in a timely manner, always keeping the customers’ satisfaction in mind.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
• Diagnose the cause of malfunction and performs the needed repair
• Examines the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required
• Advises Body Shop Manager if additional work is needed
• Documents all work performed as soon as the job is completed
• Ensures that customers’ cars are kept clean
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Tech Qualifications: 

• At least five (5) years of collision repair experience
• Ability to use frame machine
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
• Certification in body repair preferred but not required
• I-CAR welding certified preferred but not required
