Auto Body Technician –A Tech
Location: Plan B AutoBody, Goodlettsville, TN
Schedule: Full-Time, Mon–Fri
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
About Us: We’re a locally owned independent auto body shop focused on quality repairs and a solid team environment.
Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auto Body Collision “A-Tech” to join our team. The ideal candidate is capable of performing all aspects of collision repair from start to finish, ensuring vehicles are restored to pre-accident condition with a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complete structural and non-structural repairs on collision-damaged vehicles
- Diagnose damage and develop repair plans based on OEM standards
- Execute metal work, frame straightening, welding, and panel replacement
- Repair or replace damaged body parts, including doors, fenders, quarter panels, and bumpers
- Perform advanced body filler work and surface preparation for paint
- Ensure proper fit, finish, and alignment of all components
- Use measuring systems and frame machines accurately
- Maintain compliance with safety procedures and industry regulations
- Collaborate with estimators and other technicians to ensure timely job completion
- Conduct final inspections to ensure quality standards are met
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a collision repair technician (A-Tech level)
- Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, repair techniques, and materials (steel, aluminum, etc.)
- Experience with frame machines, welding equipment, and diagnostic tools
- Ability to read and interpret repair procedures and estimates
- I-CAR certifications (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Auto Body Technician – B Tech

Role: Looking for a dependable B-Level Body Technician to handle moderate collision repairs. You should be able to work independently, follow repair procedures, and take pride in clean, quality work.
Responsibilities
- Perform body repairs, panel replacement, and metal work
- Repair dents, collision damage, and minor structural components
- R&I panels, trim, lights, and hardware
- Plastic repair and prep work for paint
- Use frame/measuring equipment as needed
- Follow OEM procedures and shop standards
Requirements
- 2–5 years auto body or collision repair experience
- Ability to read repair orders
- Own basic hand tools
- Valid driver’s license
- I-CAR a plus, not required
